January 28th 2012 - Wessex contest at Salisbury (Intermediate and Youth Band)

It is important everyone is available for this competition. Please let us know if you cannot make it.

Venue

Trafalgar School, Breamore Road, Downton, Salisbury Wiltshire SP5 3HN

We will be providing a coach for the Youth and Intermediate Band to attend the competition in Salisbury. The bus will be leaving at 7.30am from the band rehearsal room. Please be there by 7.15am. The contest is scheduled to finish at around 4.30pm so we expect to be back at St Andrews between 6.00pm and 6.30pm. We will call ahead with actual times.

We would like all players to travel down on the bus.

There should be room for some parents to travel on the coach as well. Parents are welcome to come and support us.

The Youth band must be there by 9.15am for 9.45am warm up/registration. They are scheduled to play at around 10.00am.
The Intermediate band must be there by 1.30pm for a 1.45pm warm up time. They are scheduled to play around 2.00pm.

Uniform

Black tee shirts, black trousers, black socks and shoes. I would suggest people travel in their uniform as changing is limited. Please bring coats/warm over clothes.

Food

Please bring a packed lunch and drinks for the day. It is likely a snack bar will be available but I cannot be sure about this. A small sum of money would be appropriate.

Games/mobiles etc

These may be taken but the responsibility lies with the children to look after these.

Please note that NO member of the band is to leave the school under any circumstances.
